Tiny Hearts Big Futures is a nursery setting that will provide exceptional care and education in a loving, homely environment for children from birth to school age. The nursery is owned by two highly qualified professionals who have substantial experience of caring for children.

Meet Claire and Marie

Directors

We have a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills to provide high quality childcare and education which focuses on the early years. After successful careers in education over the last 20 years, we find ourselves in a position where we can confidently say we are expertly skilled in delivering excellent standards of care and a comprehensive, diverse education to very young children which is why we are passionate about and dedicated to ensuring ‘Tiny Hearts Big Futures’ does just that. We work well within a community of people and thrive when we succeed in developing strong, positive relationships with children and their families.

We pride ourselves on being extremely hardworking, honest, caring professionals who go above and beyond to ensure all children in our care are loved and happy. Once this is achieved, we then strive to unlock every child’s potential academically, ensuring that they learn at a rate appropriate to them and in a way that motivates, excites and inspires them.

Claire (B.A Hons)

Marie (B.A Hons)

• 20 years experience of working in nursery and primary school settings
• 16 years as a primary school teacher, ranging from Nursery through to Year 6
• 13 years experience of senior leadership, with 4 years as Vice Principal
• Skilled in leading early years departments
• Phonics and early reading specialist
• Specialist leader of education for English (SLE)
• National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL)
• National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH)
• Trained to Level 4 in safeguarding children

• Substantial experience, spanning over 20 years, working in day nurseries and early years settings
• Experience of leadership within an outstanding day nursery
• Early years teacher for 3 years in a primary school
• Extensive knowledge of child development, how children learn and how to give very young children the best start in life
• Skilled in the teaching of early reading and early maths
• Highly skilled in supporting children with complex social and educational needs
• Masters Degree
• Level 2 safeguarding certificate
• Experience of governance within care and education settings
